Jan Thompson

Jan is a Wealth Manager within the Private Wealth team, with over 20 years’ experience advising high net worth individuals with complex financial planning needs. She is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds the Investment Management Certificate, alongside a law degree, which underpins her holistic and analytical approach to advice.

Jan works closely with clients and their professional advisers, including portfolio managers, lawyers and tax specialists, to deliver tailored and effective wealth planning solutions. Prior to joining W1M, she was a Financial Planner at Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning, where she managed a diverse portfolio of high net worth clients, including professionals, business owners and retirees. Her areas of expertise include pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning and trusts.

Jan is committed to building long-term client relationships and considers it a privilege to act as a trusted adviser, helping clients achieve objectives such as early retirement or maximising the legacy passed to future generations.

Outside of work, Jan lives in London with her husband and two dogs. She is an advanced diver, enjoys travel, and has climbed Mount Toubkal.
