George is a portfolio manager in the Financial Intermediary Office where he has a focus on managing portfolios for trusts, companies and other structures.
George joined W1M in 2026 from Evelyn Partners where he was a director and had worked since starting on the Smith and Williamson graduate training scheme in 2016. At Evelyn Partners he managed global equity and multi-asset portfolios for private clients – both onshore and offshore – through a range of structures including trusts, companies and OEICs. He also has experience managing charity portfolios and enjoys working with trustees, consultants, accountants and lawyers. In addition to those portfolio management responsibilities George led Evelyn Partners’ global chemical and UK fund research.
George graduated from Durham University with a first class degree in politics and is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
