Charles is a Portfolio Manager. He looks after a wide range of mainly UK-based families, including landed estates as well as entrepreneurs, with portfolios ranging from individual accounts and ISA's to SIP's, Trusts and corporate accounts. This often involves liaising closely with other advisers such as lawyers and accountants. He also manages assets for a number of charity clients. Charles's investment responsibilities involve assisting with UK stock selection, but he also has past experience of analysing Japanese and European equities.
He graduated from Birmingham University with a degree in Ancient & Medieval History and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Charles joined Waverton in 1999, following five years at Foreign & Colonial as an investment analyst, having qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research in 1998.
