W1M strengthens Insurance Solutions Team with appointment of Leigh Overall-Gibbons as Business Development Director
London, UK – Monday 2nd February – W1M Wealth Management Ltd (“W1M”), the wealth and investment management firm for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families, charities, and institutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Leigh Overall-Gibbons as Business Development Director to its Insurance Solutions team.
Reporting to Chris Dalziel, W1M’s Head of Insurance Solutions, Leigh brings 25 years of experience in institutional sales across the banking and insurance sectors and will work with W1M’s Insurance Solutions team to continue building on its strong momentum and success.
Leigh’s investment career began 1999 at Perpetual, which later transitioned into Invesco, where she held various roles specialising in institutional relationship management and sales. Leigh worked closely with banks, stockbrokers, and family offices in a number of these roles before focusing exclusively on life and general insurance clients, working with UK and international insurers on balance sheet, unit-linked, with-profit and offshore investment solutions.
In 2024, Leigh joined Mayar Capital and served as the Head of Sales and Client Relations. In this role, she managed fund distribution & sales efforts across the UK and international institutional markets, with a particular expertise in Sharia-compliant institutional solutions and a regional focus on the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.
