Consistency is one of the most valuable qualities when selecting multi-asset solutions, particularly for advisers seeking reliable outcomes across changing market conditions.

Two recent Trustnet studies examining annual returns over the past decade have highlighted the strength of the W1M multi-asset offering, with both the WS Waverton Portfolio Fund (also known as the Multi-Asset Growth Fund) and WS Waverton Multi-Asset Income Fund recognised among the most consistent performers in their respective sectors.

In Trustnet's analysis of the IA Mixed Investment 40 - 85% Shares sector, the Portfolio Fund was one of just seven funds to outperform its sector average in every calendar year over the past decade, demonstrating a remarkable level of consistency alongside strong long-term returns. The Fund had the strongest 10-year return of all funds in the table, gaining 148.6% over the assessed period,  placing the Fund in the top three in the sector.

The Multi-Asset Income Fund was identified as one of the most consistent funds in the IA Mixed Investment 20-60% Shares sector, reflecting W1M's disciplined approach to asset allocation, risk management and income generation through different market environments.

For advisers, these independent assessments reinforce the value of an investment process focused not only on delivering attractive long-term returns, but also on doing so consistently through market cycles. The Multi-Asset Defensive, Cautious and Balanced Funds launched in November 2023, completing our Multi-Asset Fund range. The funds will mark their third anniversary this year.
