W1M continues to scale Private Wealth team with strategic hires

London, UK – Wednesday 8th October 2025 – W1M Wealth Management Ltd (“W1M”), the wealth and investment management firm for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families, charities, and institutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Quan, Paul Bentley and Luke Edy to its Private Wealth team. These appointments come as the firm, formed from the merger of Waverton Investment Management and London & Capital, reported 19% year-on-year growth in its combined business AUM over the course of 2024, driven by strong organic growth in client acquisition.
Reporting to Nick Hammond, W1M’s Head of Private Wealth and US Private Wealth, Bentley, Quan and Edy bring a combined 56 years of wealth and financial planning experience to W1M’s integrated wealth and investment management proposition.
With 26 years of experience, Bentley joins from the 1762 division of RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he has been a Wealth Director since 2019, advising a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurs and senior executives to multi-generational families, on tailored investment strategies and financial planning. Bentely previously worked at Kleinwort Benson as Head of Entrepreneurs, and at Mercer.
Quan also joins from the 1762 division of RBC Brewin Dolphin, where she has been for almost five years, most recently as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Before joining RBC Brewin Dolphin, Quan was an Associate Director at Smith & Williamson. She brings 11 years of experience working with private clients both onshore and offshore, particularly in the US, and managing portfolios with a global equity focus.
Edy has worked in financial services for 19 years. He joins from Citi Private Bank, where he spent the past eight years as a Director and Senior Private Banker covering the wealth management needs of clients working in the Asset Management and Professional Services segments across the UK and EMEA. Prior to Citi, Edy held relationship management roles at JPMorgan and Barclays.
