London & Capital and Waverton Investment Management officially combine as W1M

London, 2 June 2025 -- London & Capital (“L&C”) and Waverton Investment Management (“Waverton”) officially become W1M today. This follows the announcement in March that the two brands would consolidate under this new name to offer clients one home for wealth and investment management, offering exceptional breadth and depth of global advice and planning, combined with institutional-quality investment management.  From today, W1M will be going to market under the new brand and via its new website w1m.com which went live today.

W1M manages over £21 billion in assets, placing it among the UK’s largest wealth managers. The newly-merged wealth and investment management firm aims to grow its market share and become the leading wealth and investment manager for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, charities, and institutions.

W1M combines the strengths of both firms to address the complex, international, and intergenerational needs of wealthy families, including cross-border advice, institutional-quality investment management, global tax and portfolio reporting.

The two firms’ shared investment philosophy – Global, Active, and Direct – will continue under William Dinning, previously Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Waverton, who now becomes CIO of W1M. W1M will also maintain its partnerships with Independent Financial Advisers, providing them and their clients with leading investment solutions.
