In this video, Gabrielle Park, Assistant Fund Manager, recaps July 2025 performance for W1M’s Multi-Asset Funds.

Markets rallied after trade agreements and the passing of the 'Big Beautiful Bill Act'. The Growth Fund returned 5.8%, Balanced 4.7%, Cautious 3.7%, and Defensive 2.7%, all performing strongly versus peers.

Equities once again drove gains, led by GE Vernova (+29%), AMD, Synopsys, and CATL (all +28%). A new holding, Intercontinental Exchange, was added.

Within Fixed income, there was a tactical shift into inflation-linked gilts.  Alternatives were mixed, with Real Assets broadly flat and trend following strategy Montlake Dunn posting positive returns within the Absolute Return allocation.

The Funds end the month slightly overweight Equities and Alternatives and the expense of Fixed Income.
