Capital Cycles Uncovered: W1M Shares European Equity Insights at the RSMR Conference
Last week, we were pleased to represent W1M at the RSMR Conference in Leeds, where we were proud sponsors alongside other leading asset managers and industry participants.
The conference provided an excellent platform for thought-provoking discussions on themes including AI, SpaceX, oil prices, geopolitical uncertainty, and heightened market volatility, factors influencing decision-making, yet set against a backdrop of continued resilience in equity markets and emerging opportunities across regions and asset classes.
Chris Garsten, Lead Fund Manager, and Charles Walker, Equity Analyst, represented W1M as speakers, presenting “Capital Cycles Uncovered.” Their session explored opportunities within European markets, challenging perceptions of European market underperformance and highlighting industries where they can identify structural change early such as ‘Steel’ and ‘Space’, while demonstrating the strength and consistency of the investment process underpinning the strategy.

It was also great to have Sanjana Morjaria Ramrakha attending the conference, engaging with peers across the industry and contributing to discussions throughout the day.
